Reflection:
This was my first independent lesson that I did in this classroom. This lesson was done in a first grade classroom. I was very nervous to be teaching tone of voice in the classroom. I was not comfortable with the classroom, and it is not always easy to change your voice when reading for different characters. One thing that I like about this classroom management is that they each have as assigned spot for Reading and Writing Workshop, this creates less chaos during a read aloud. Mrs. Kocses had pointed out to me that it is hard to change voice when reading but she said that I pulled it off. However, I was able to keep the students engaged throughout the entire lesson. It was a good lesson and the students have been changing their tones when reading ever since I taught them about tone of voice.

Reflection:
This lesson was done as a joint lesson. This lesson was done in a first grade classroom. I had a hard time with this lesson being that it was a partner lesson. We equally spilt what was to be done; the reading and the feelings that we picked out throughout the short picture book. In the end, the lesson went well and we were able to spilt the reading. The students were then instructed to draw a picture of a feeling that occurred in the novel and they were all able to do what was told to them. We called up a few students to describe one feeling that happened in the book, but after circulating around the room it was clear that they all picked the same feeling. One thing that I think we could of done better was emphasize the feelings that were occurring on each page a little more. Since it was my first partner lesson, I learned a lot from it, such as needed to speak up more and not giving the spotlight all to my partner.
